Overview
A seed tank prepares and propagates the starter culture used to inoculate milk in yogurt production. Milk is heated to sterilise it, cooled to incubation temperature, inoculated with culture and held under precise temperature control until the bulk starter is ready to transfer to the main fermentation tanks.
This tank has a 10,000 L machinery capacity, steam heating and PID temperature control with automatic operation. It is built from mirror-polished stainless steel, with a gearbox, bearing, pump, pressure vessel and PLC as core components. Installed power is 3.5–35 kW at 220 V or 380 V, 50 Hz. Engineers are available to service machinery overseas, and a one-year warranty applies.
